It’s almost here everyone – our annual induction ceremony for the Class of 2024 for the Peterborough and District Pathway of Fame – and a reminder that this year represents the first time in the history of the Pathway of Fame that event is an evening affair, this coming Tuesday, September 10th 2024 beginning at 7:30 pm at Peterborough’s Showplace Performance Center, located at 290 George Street North downtown with convenient parking just steps away in the King Street Parkade.
Doors open at 6:15pm and the evening begins at 7pm with a performance of the Heritage Trio, comprised of prior Pathway Inductees Barry Haggarty, Terry Finn and Ken DesChamp. A special treat this year as part of the performance is a cameo by Pathway Inductee Kate Suhr, who will be accompanied by incoming Inductee Melissa Payne as Suhr highlights a couple of wonderful Dolly Parton songs as a preview to the upcoming Showplace fundraiser ‘Here We Come Again,’ conceived by Beth McMaster and scheduled for Showplace in October. It will be a memorable half hour, with the Induction Ceremony happening at 7:30 from the main stage.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
